Application Scientist

NeoScan is an ambitious deep-tech scale-up company specialized in the development and production of high-tech scientific instruments for non-destructive 3D X-ray microscopy (micro-CT). Job Function

Perform demonstrations and provide customer training and support.
Develop 3D visual content for marketing purposes.
Increase brand visibility through online presence including content planning, technical posts, product updates,..
Actively participate to proactively generating product sales opportunities.
Build and maintain a scientific network.
Generate applications notes and provide input on feasibility of new applications.
Develop new methods, test and verify new products.
Assist in the production of manuals, marketing materials, and other documentation.

Profile

University degree (MSc or PhD) in materials science, engineering, natural science, biomedical engineering or equally skilled by experience.
Working experience with microCT imaging instruments and/or image analysis software is an asset.
Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English.
Very good communication and presentation skills, including MS Office proficiency.
Ability to work on her/his own initiative and as a part of a focused, enthusiastic and experienced team.
A hands/on attitude
Willing to travel worldwide on an occasional basis.
